New Roadster Shop Billet Products

Here is an early look at some of the new billet product line coming from the Roadster Shop. All products shown below are in the final proto-type phases and plan to have products ready for delivery by the end of November.

Billet Mirrors: On every car that we build, we struggle to find anything remotely cool for mirrors that fit the modern, pro-touring look. So, we designed something to fill the void. These are designed to use the stock mirror mounts and locations and have been fit on GM A Bodies, Camaros and Novas. Locates the mirror in the stock location for great visability.

Shown with a 3.5" mirror, but will also be available with a larger 4.5" mirror.

A matching rearview mirror mount will also be available.

Billet Door Handles and Matching Window Cranks:
These have been designed to use the stock retainer clips for a solid secure mount. (No weak set screws holding these to your door that constantly come loose!) There will be 3 different designs available. Below is a quick preview.

Available for GM '64-'67 style door panels as well as the '68-'72 under arm rest style. Matching window cranks will be available for each style of handle.

The mirrors are a great idea. I actually like the originals but they are just cheap junk. I'll switch them out in a heartbeat.

the mirrors are nice but in my opinion they need to be scaled down a bit bracket wise/the air ride camaro has a neat set of billet mirrors that i was thinking about but im open to other ideas/please keep us posted on your neat new state of the art products:thumbsup:

Is there any way to spec a longer splined section to reach through thick repro deluxe door panels?

That is definitely part of the design. This is the biggest problem with what is currently available. There are shallow splines with a set screw that holds the handle in place. Any custom interior door panel is going to be thicker than stock and that does not allow enough spline to grip. I can't tell you how many cars we have that we are constantly re-tightening and adjusting door and window handles. Some have gotten to the point where the handle will not stay on and it is kept in the glove box until needed!

As cool as your new parts are I prefer a more stock look in billet parts. I like it when the part still retains the flavor of the stock part but with a twist and doesn't stray too far!
