WTB finished pro-tour car - Search is over. Update - car home Dec 7 09
Hello. Hope everyone is well. I am looking to buy a nice pro touring car. I have built \ owned a few in the past, and while building them is fun, I do not have the time these days. So, would like to buy a finished car. I see from other WTB posts that providing specifics can be important so here are some:
* Would prefer a 1st gen. Camaro buy would consider other cars * Needs to have a modern-day drive train. IE..LSX, etc * Would like the car mini-tubbed As for how much I have to spend........that is awkward. Put it this way, I have a range I am working with and have cash in hand and am ready to buy now. Mike (Mazspeed) as well as Kevin from CAR and Jimi from FM3 \ Optima should be able to "vouch" for me. Thanks guys. Please shoot me a PM if you have or know of a nice car for sale. Thanks, Chris |
Chris...this is the BEST deal I have seen in a decade...might be the steal of the century and he is willing to go less than 55K just FYI

Thanks and close but....
EpikRider,
Hope you are well and thanks for the tip. Very cool car. Just needs an LSX. Great price, as you said. Actually under my budget by quite a bit. If I had the energy and patience I would buy the car and swap in an LSX, just too impatient. Thanks again and take care, Chris |
Hey Chris,
I'm having my 69 Camaro done by one of the sponsers here, Route 66 Motorsports they are doing a great job. I have no doubt they could build exactly what your looking for. www.rt66motorsports.com or give them a call 815-462-0090 ask for Bill |
Its not an Fbody but you should seriously talk to Jody about his 64 Chevelle twin turbo LS2 car. Don't quote me but I think he said 100Kish could buy it about a month ago.
edit I found the thread Quote:

Thanks for the tips guys
Project Cortez, received your PM, thanks for the shop reference. If only I was patient enough to wait for a car to be built. Thanks though.
Gearheads78, Jody's Chevelle is an awesome car. But, it is just outside my budget. Thanks again for the idea. Chris |
Not a problem, wasn't sure where you lived. I'm in the Chicago area so I have I'll be waiting all winter til the spring time, then I'll ready to drive it

70rs,
Hope you are well and thanks for the tip. Yea, I saw that awesome Cuda. It is just a freckle above the cash I have to spend. Not much at all, just a bit, and, his ad says "80K firm". Thanks though, Chris |
