DSE/Ring Bros hood hinges

I have the first edition DSE/Ring bros billet hood hinges for my 69 Camaro. I have misplaced the instructions. I realize the install is simple. But have forgotten the routine for adjusting the turnbuckle that connects the links. Can someone please refresh my memory on how to do this or e-mail the instructions if any of you guys have them...thanks very much....Mike
