Ford 9 inch differences

Is there a difference in the 9 inch rear ends found in trucks and the ones found in cars? If so, what are they? Are the truck units any good for use in our cars?

Thank you VERY MUCH!! It looks as though I just found a 31 spline, big bearing 9" for cheap. I am a happy camper. :D
