new nova/camaro guy from texas
hello ,70 nova thats a barley running project has a 250 straight six that leaks every thing it can leak i sanded the original gold paint down, primered, and then painted it flat black ,i lucked out because the body is near perfect condition but you can't have it all because the floors were all rusted out ,rust around the front and back glass but it makes up for it with the body,..i also own a 70 camaro that i bought for $650 bucks yup thats right ,but it an't pretty ,well basically need most sheetmetal replaced but then again it has good floorpans and good front subframe etc ,but thats a future build thread ,looking foward to it! i'll start tread in the paint and body for the nova soon and try to get some pics up of how i painted body and interior ,looking foward to it ,oh yeah ,and those floor pans aren't in yet just sittin there ,are there treads on tips to weld them in?

im sure there are plenty of threads on installing the floor pans. Just use the "search tool" in the forum and im sure it will become your friend quickly.
Im sure though, If you cant find something just post it up and you will get tons of good answers. there are a LOT of top notch builders on this site that love to help when ever. good luck and get that inline six out and replaced soon as you can! hahaha Marc |

welcome from one new member to another
I am glad to see another young man spending his time on a constructive activity.I also saw a 70-73 camaro in one of your pics. What a coincidence I have one too.I've just finished stripping it down and doing some of the measuring and planning for my conversion.I see you aren't wasting any time in getting it on the road to driving it again.Consider your time now without anymore responsibility than you have a blessing, cause a wife,a couple of kids and a mortgage and possibly remodeling and things like that can really put a drain on your time and energy.I commend you for your energy and drive to get things done, and I wish you the best.
