BFG KDW II's
Has anybody used the BFG KDW II's? Good, bad or indifferent? I need tires for a 69 Camaro pro touring style.
Thanks for any help! |
Yep - they are great tires
|
I'm running them too and they provide great traction wet or dry and have an unmistakable tread pattern that looks cool on anything.
|
I have them on my 95 Z-28. 295-35-19 rears and 245-35-19 front and they are the best tire I have run on it.

they are wonderful tires. I have a set on some 17s for a nissan i used to own and i loved them! just make sure your alignment is good because i ran with out an alignment for about a month and wore down the inner edge pretty quick due to the softness of the tire. other then that youll love them!

We haven't heard anything negative about them, other than a few sport luxury guys saying they are louder than they thought they would be. Not a huge deal for us muscle car guys, being that we're running 2.5-3" exhausts and tire noise is not the first thing we think of when shopping tires.
BFG is the second best selling brand of tire we carry, right below Nitto. |
Sell these all day long. Work great, but are defiently loud. However, like stated above, usually interior comfort is a wash anways
|
I had them on my subaru.... didn't have any bad to say about them.
The pattern looks cool too: http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...s/IMG_0494.jpg |
Great looks, no complaints in performance, and their treadwear rating is much better than a lot of the UHP tires out there.
the big knock on them is road noise. I've never had a problem with that, and I think anyone that complains about road noise from their tires, has much bigger underlying issues with their car anyway |
they are definetly a great looking tire IMO
