What is the weight difference between a fiberglass hood and an aluminum hood?? Benefits?? Any possibility of Aluminum Fenders?

I did find Aluminum fenders for 69 Camaros on Ricks Camaros, but nothing for 68. is there no market??? Whats the deal?:(

Yep, I'm a distributor for AMD (autometaldirect.com) and they offer only hoods for 68, but for 69 they have whole front
