Mini tub shock question
 

This my be a silly question but, I'm planning on mini tubbing and (for now) keeping my hotchkis leaf springs. My question is "are there any other rear shock choices out there besides mini tub shocks that would work ???
can I use mini cooper shocks or adjustable air shocks ..?? Don't laugh, just trying to save a little $. I have a few larger items I would like and anything saved can go towards them.......................................Thanks , Jeoff J.

If you are not using the DSE kit you will also need a an upper shock mount. This is availble http://www.competitionengineering.co...?CatCode=10096
You will also need to change out your lower mounts from staggered to both on the rear of the axle to use the above upper mount. DSE has these available http://www.detroitspeed.com/productp..._prod_test.htm

Then the shocks can be matched up after you get these installed. I'm sure there are other brackets available also.
