That was awesome.... The landing looked so soft... Thought it would have been alot harder... That would be so much fun...

Wow! ...made it look easy.

He sure was turning some RPM!

Football field, he needs to do that at the Superbowl for halftime. If you saw that video from inside the cab only you would never have guessed he jumped 301 feet. The landing was so smooth.

That's Cool !!!! They could do better without alot more work , maybe a bigger jump ramp though.

Thanks Scott !!

I think you should make sure yours sounds like that Todd!

What motor is in that truck and what kind of RPMs is it hitting? Anyone?

HotRodKush 01-06-2010 11:55 AM

I bet he can go futher, he only hit the ramp at around 100mph. I'd guess the only issue would be controlling the rotation of the truck in the air - no idea what happens to a flying truck at 150mph, lol.

Hit the brakes and it will nose oner, hit the gas and it will nose up a little. With larger tires and 4x4 it is a great way to controll landings and attitude in the air. It works the same on bikes, cars or anything with heavy rotating masses like tires. The bigger the mass(tires) the more pronounced the change in mid air. Next time you see monster trucks running watch the wheels after they jump and you will see it work.
