I'm done. Who wants it?

For Sale:

1968 Camaro
C5 Corvette tube chassis built by Ironworks Speed and Kustom
Carbon body kit
HRE 542R 18" wheels with Michelin slicks from C5R
Full LSX engine with accessories, T56 transaxle, full front and rear C5 suspension with aluminum cradles, extended torque tube
Yes, this is the infamous project 50/50. Yes I'm over it, out of money, can't see my decade old idea through, and want you to reap the benefits of me losing 6 figures in this car.

$40K OBO. You can read about it:

Key pictures and specs:

The chassis- re do number 2, Ironworks Speed and Kustom:

The rear T56 transaxle and suspension points mocked up on the frame table; we used the factory cradles to make servicing more accessable

The car at ride height, welded to the chassis table; HRE 542R wheels mocked up with Michelin road racing slicks and body kit rocker panel

The exceptional tube work on the rear of the chassis:

The main chassis and front tubes coming together:

The details on this chassis have to been seen in person, these really don't do it justice.

The above shot allows for a flat floor, while still allowing a guy 6'4" to sit with ease.

Front chassis coming together with the aluminum cradle:

So that is where the car is. We have to weld the chassis into the rockers, finalize the front suspension mounts and set it on the ground. The above price includes this work, and the car will be delivered as a roller.
The theme here is all out performance/race car with ease of maintenance. All items can be replaced with factory parts; car will have smooth under belly, engine has 6 inch set back and is behind the front axle centerline. The entire drive train (engine, torque tune and T56 transaxle) can be dropped from the car by popping the upper ball joints from the spindles, and removing the 8 bolts that hold the lower cradles to the chassis. It's like a big zipper.
For the right buyer, I'll upgrade whatever steel parts I can to Anvil Auto 100% carbon fiber replacements to further lighten the vehicle.

i guess its not as kewl as that dramatic post of mine makes it seem...its an alright car i suppose :)

The chassis is close to being a roller. When I talked to Tyler yesterday he said we would make it a roller for that price. The Most recent pics of the work are what's on the net already. We have added a few tabs and brackets to get some things landed but not a whole lots has been done in a long time.

This is a smoking deal on this car. Smokin

Hopefully members catch on to your infamous phrasing between you and about 10 members here. Joking set aside, Not sure how far along the car is, but I do know since Tyler dropped it off there, Ironworks definitely corrected it's past issues with the set up. Next step... photo album for the sale.
Good luck Tyler and hopefully any potential customers can see it through as the 50/50.

Are all the fabrication issues from the previous shop fixed? The pictures show some things that needed a do over on the PT.com link listed above. Is that the current state of things?
