Wheel and Tire HELP?

Hi Guys,
I'm new to the sight and very appreciative of any feedback. I'm to that stage of my project of new wheels and tires. I have a 1968 Camaro and have been researching online. I have installed Master Power, power discs brakes up front DSE upper and lower A arms, and Hotchkis TVS kit. Out back: I went with a MP drum upgrade and a kit that relocates the shocks inboard of the leaf springs from Performance Online. I want the FOOSE Nitrous II wheels with BF Goodrich KDWs. I'm ordering my wheels and tires as a package online and am saving about half a grand plus they come mounted and balanced. I have only one chance to get the size and offset right as you cant return them.
Detroit Speed and Enginnerring "With the stock suspension, the largest front tire is a P245/45R17 on an 8 inch rim. The largest rear tire is a P275/40R17 on a 9.5 inch rim."
My real dilemma is the backspacing front and rear. ***With that shock relocation kit, what is the widest tire i can get back there??? FOOSE only makes those rims in a 17x8 or 17x10. Also if you guys know where I can get a good deal on the rims and tires online?
Thanks!!!

Call Justin @ Driverz Inc or Frank @ Prodigy. Either or will be a great help.

Update

Hey guys FYI, I have been searching the forums and always do my homework. Just an update I really like the 17 front and 18 back inch combo or even 18/19. I think 20s or even 19s almost overpower the look of my 68. I like the muscle car look not a Gangsta ride lolol but like the raked look. I'm aware of the 17x8 with 4.75 bs and the 18x9.5 wit5h 5.5 bs. I almost want to try and fit a 18x10 with a 285 tire? The shock relocation kit gave me at least an inch of additional clearance over the stock setup. But keep in mind the car isn't tubbed, fenderlips aren't rolled. Let me know what you guys think.

When I ran 17's, that's the combo I used... 17x8, 245's with 4.75 BS and 17x9.5, 275's with 5.5 BS.

I know guys have run 285 on a 10" wide wheel, but you have to be spot on.

When I've run 17's they're as follows:
Fronts:
17x8 (4.75" b/s) 245/45's
Rears:
17x9.5 (5.5" b/s) 285/40's

These fit my particular car no problem.I even shimmed the rears outward to give me extra inside clearance and I still had room to the fenderlip.
I would suggest running a 275/40 rear tire however, that will afford you extra room.Keep in mind my car's kinda a freak...

I currently run an 18" setup as follows:
Fronts:
18x8 (4.875" b/s) 245/40's
Rears:
18x10 (5.625" b/s) 275/40's

You'll need to be spot-on to run this combination w/o issues and your suspension has to be quite firm.
