Friend selling a G-Bar--is it worth it
Here's how it always goes--not exactly what I want, but it is brand new with the varishocks and springs--$1000.00.
Now, lower bars aren't adjustable on this one, but uppers are---need the lowers to be adjustable for my app--can I just purchase the pivot ball arms for the lowers and call it good? Other option would be to have rod ends welded to them---damn deals---never exactly what I need, but they require a second look when they are this cheap. |
I wouldn't use any of the end links except the poly bushing in the spring pocket. They won't last long. If you plan to minitub then I'd go with Marcus at SC&C rods and ends. Otherwise you can do what I did and just tap the lower bars and replace the whole enchilada up top. That will only cost about $150-200. I think you will be happy with it.

Todd--I'll call you later today--seems like to good of a deal to pass up at the moment--

I'll be out most of the afternoon taking in this killer weather. But give me a call this evening. Here is the link for the new bars. They are a little pricey.

version one of version 2 G bar? Either is worth that all day. I will buy it if you do not. But parts from one do not interchange to the other.
