1968 Pro Touring Procharged Camaro "Vertigo" for sale
It was with much sadness that I post this car for sale after a 3+ year journey with lots of ups and downs along the way.
What started as a simple driver Camaro build evolved into a full pro touring tire shredder with up to 800 crank horsepower on tap. I was always one to say I just wanted the car to be done so I could enjoy it, but I actually did enjoy the roller coaster ride of the build and the many friends I made along the way. Business issues force this sale. We actually had record sales in 09 but when 2 of your largest clients cannot pay you this is what happens. I vow to be back in a bad ass muscle car sooner rather than later. The car has less than 300 miles on the odometer since the build was completed, and most of that was the weekend trip from Sacramento to Pleasanton for the Goodguys Autumn Get Together, where this car won Cool Camaro award in a sea of Camaros. I was pretty proud of that award. The motor is currently being refreshed with new pistons, rings, bearings, and gaskets and will be installed back in the car in the following couple weeks. Car is at Gearhead Garage in Sacramento and can be viewed during business hours there. Jason can answer pretty much every question you have there, and if not, ask me. Most answers can be found on my website or viewing the parts list below. If no bites here, it will be going to ebay shortly. Lots of stalled projects for sale right now I know. This is a turnkey car with all parts brand new or having a couple hundred miles. Come buy it and drive it away. Asking $62,000. Like most of these builds, you know there is a helluva lot more invested in this car than that price. I wish you well in the sale Dave.
With its great stance this first pic reminds me of a Trans-Am car. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...o/DSCF2606.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...o/DSCF2603.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...o/DSCF2610.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...o/DSCF2612.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...o/DSCF2608.jpg |
Sorry to hear about your situation Dave.

Wait, I thought we were suppose to drive our cars together down the west coast! :(
I know you don't want to sell.....best of luck buddy! And you are correct! You can't build one like that for the asking price!! |
Great price on a great car. Sorry you have to let it go. But at least you got to put a few miles on it and enjoy the build right through the end and see it finished. Not too many guys get that chance when things go south.
Best of luck with the sale Dave. |
I am going to walk around kicking stuff and swearing all day on your behalf. I was super bummed when I had to sell my car, but for some reason I'm pissed off that you are selling yours.
