Transmission cooler

I bought a small transmission cooler a few years back and decided that I want to run a larger one and keep the lines from going into the radiator. Will the smaller cooler be to restrictive or just a bad idea to use on my return line on my powersteering pump? Thanks in advance.

How small of a cooler, ie number of passes? The PS only needs a small one A PS cooler is fairly common on C4/5/6 vettes

I'll take a pic, and count the rows. It's pretty small and I thought it might help a little. Nothing to lose since I already own it as long as it doesn't cause problems.
