Welcome to the site. And thank you for your service to the communities over the years. Sorry to hear about the injuries but am glad you survived them. I am also very sorry to hear about the loss of so many other officers. We have had many lost in Washington recently too, it affects everyone in some way or another.
I like the buld you are working on. Have you picked up a car to use as a base yet? There are a lot of great guys and girls here, all of whom are willing to answer questions and offer advice if asked. Post up the plans for the build, I'd like to know more about it. |
Boy would I hate for you to come pulling up behind me on 880 in that to write me a ticket. Will you be doing most of the build yourself or is there a shop your working with? I would love to stop by and check this out.

Great idea looking forward to seeing it come together.
What about using a 4 door so you will be in a much lower starting price point and make it more police car like with a rear cage to transport criminals and all. If you keep your eyes peeled I have seen cherry right out of granny's garage examples less than 5K. The same cars pop out from time to time in 2 dr versions 15-20K just some food for thought. |
A four door would be great in this roll. And you can make it handle just as well as a two door. Check the wheelbase dimensions on both, maybe they are the same or at least very close. (i don't know) Maybe the Roadster Shop or Schwartz Performance can build you a one off frame for it?
Ben did my renderings too, great guy to work with and very talented. I am sure he can make a 4 door look fantastic for you. |

I say keep the 2 door.

Until you get up to 1968 2 and 4 door frames are the same.
