Penny's 17-inch Forgeline wheels.. again.
Long story short. The guy that bought these has put his project on hold and asked me to sell these for him. The wheels are still in my possesion and are as good as they were back when first offered for sale. They litterally have a under a thousand miles on them.
Save thousands over what they cost new. Due to my drop spindles they no longer fit my front suspension. These are Forgeline ZX3Rs from thier competition line. The sizes are 17x10 front and 17x12 rear. They rears are on a 6" backspace, but I run a 1/4 inch spacer to get it just right. I don't remember the front backspace, but I think it's 7-inches. I will find out though. Centers are satin black powdered and the hoops are done in thier "titanium" color, which is pretty flat. Wheels have the $500 titanium bolt and jet nut upgrade which knocks another pound off the already light wheels. Here's the blurb from Forgeline on the ZX3Rs: Quote:
If the offset doesn't work for you then Forgeline will rehoop them for $150-$200 a wheel (parts and labor). I'm also sure they could change the rim color as well. Have not been curbed, dropped or damaged. The is a small, light scrape on the INNER hoop where the wheel lightly rubbed the tie rod before we put stops in the rack. Other than that they are perfect with few miles on them. These were the wheels I ran at the Optima race in '08. I'm pretty sure retail price is well over $1,100 a wheel, so lets call this a 50%+ off sale. lol $2,000 for the set, minus tires, plus shipping. Can deliver from San Diego to Salinas area. Price is pretty firm, then again it's a smoking good price. [email protected] http://i44.tinypic.com/n5sa34.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/qz2046.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/qs4nqu.jpg |

They were certainly lightweight, I replaced them with some 18s. |
