65 Buick Riviera Freshen Up (Update)

Here is the 65 Riviera I have been working on over the last several weeks.. It is almost completed, but I am waiting on a few trim pieces and clips. It was built to be a driver, so it is just a freshen up with a few accessories and updates added.

This is how I bought it a bit ago.. It was a decent car, but had some body and trim issues.. I bought this car in Oklahoma City, and drove it home.

This is where it was after it returned from the bodyshop. 2009 Porsche Titanium Silver with a used set of wheels I purchased from a member of Pro-Touring

Here it is now.. I am waiting on a few trim clips so I can get the stainless mouldings on the side, and some window trim I bought off ebay.. Parts for these cars are not reproduced, so they are very hard to find and expensive.. 1600 dollar for usable bumpers OUCH. The exhaust is not going to remain in where it is, we had to remover the tail pipes due to the lowering.

looks good, those are such nice cars. I am glad it is something different, I dont see a lot of these vs Camaro's, Chevelle's,etc....

What are your plans for this car?

At this point I am not sure what I want to do with it, I really like the car and how it came out.. I bought it several weeks ago, along with a few other cars to rescue from rotting away. They were purchased very reasonably, so the plan was to get them back to driver condition and sell them on EBAY. I bought the 65 Riviera, a 1971 Pontiac Firebird (Bruised Ego), and a 1959 MGA Coupe (Will be performing a Resto Mod driver, with a fuel injected Nissan 4cyl/5-speed). I have been working and on these cars over the last several weeks, and it is nice to see them come together.

The Plan was to freshen them up and sell them, while I am at various waiting periods on my Volvo P1800 Project (Changeling). Hopefully I will make a bit of money on these projects to add to the Volvo fund...LOL
