my 68 is not mini tubbed.im going to be getting rims very soon and im looking for what you guys are using.

I am using 17x9.5 with 5.5 backspacing (275/40-17 tire). I had some bridgestone tires on it with a "rim gaurd" built in to them that would rub on the outer lip at times. The 9.5's are common on non-tubbed 67/68's but just be aware that not all tires are the same. The nitto's that I have now are not as wide and didn't have any issues.

I'm using 19x10 rear and 19x8 front with 285/35/19 in rear

Here are a few cars that are NOT mini tubbed that we've done, although we've done hundreds. The key is a 275 wide rear tire, with the right backspace.

Check my sig. 18x9.5 using a 275 rear. Small compared to some here...:D
