69 Camaro seat install help Please!
 
Trying to put 2000 Pontiac Trans Am seats in a 69 Camaro. Any sugestions?

use the search 4th gen seats, there are numerous posts on here about this. i have them in my 69 camaro.

It involves some cutting and welding.

Front holes line up. For the rears you can cut and reposition them to fit or use some 1/4 plate and make adapter plates (for new and old holes). They are very comfortable.

Be sure and use grade 8 hardware also.

When I did mine I used 1 & 1/2 angle iron (1/8") for the rear feet. Nice and sturdy and easy to weld to original brackets. I just cut the rear feet off (they are off-set the wrong direction) and placed a block of wood under brackets to then mock up about 2" long angle irons and tacked in place before pulling off to finish welds.
