Neat cars- What you doing now days? You guys are doing some cool tube fab work there; looks great!

The place seems to need some ... ahem... better lighting.

race-rodz 11-29-2005 07:42 PM

actually the shop is lit really well...its my pos camera.

yes, 56 nomad, the wheels are only there for making it a roller and posing for photos...they belong to the 51 truck. the nomad chassis is built in house, we do LOTS of tube work, it uses off the shelf tri-5 suspension parts, the rear is dutchman independant set-up, with shockwaves front and rear.

the 51 truck was aquired when the customer it was being built for bailed out on it, it was goin to also have an LS2, but i think now its gettin a carbed 350/700r4.... the chassis is a very modified chassisworks item, will have shockwaves also, cantalever set-up on the irs.

YES....i do get to do everything flat black, right after i finish the tin work, before it rolls into the bodyshop side of the shop :D

these cars are all shiny and pretty street rod style, for the simple reason...thats what customers want....but im trying to convince a couple of them to build something "my" style, so far none of them "get it"
