air/fuel ratio gauge

Hey guys,
Anyone runnig one of those air/fuel ratio gauges like Auto meter makes on a carburuated car? I saw these thru Autometer and thought it might be usfull for tuning the carb on the car. It works off an oxygen sensor installed on the exhaust system just like the modern fuel injected cars.
Thanks

I run one on my SBC. Its really useful when doing intital tuning, and if something is not trunning right, a good way to rume out the carb, highly reccomended.
We use our 2020 series and reface them to match the interior, at least that way they are analog and don't look out of place in the interior

Yeah you'll want the wideband version for any real tuning. The narrowband ones are kinda like a rough gauge of where you're at A/F-wise. The narrowband sensor is set to read only from about 12.5-13 to 15-15.5 ratios. Good for idle and cruise, not good for WOT and power. 12.5 is about as lean as you'll want to be under power, maybe 13.

One manufacturer private labels most of the a/f gauges, so they are basically all the same, go with the best price/match for your interior.
