69 Camaro conv. build

Wanted to introduce myself and thank all of you that have posted threads over the past 6 months. Those bits of information have helped in giving me some ideas for my project. I've got All Speed Performance in Muskegon Michigan doing the build for me. This is a great group of guys with more talent than they know what to do with. I was so impressed with the job they did on Josh's DC Camaro I shipped every thing out to them from here in Denver. This is going to be one of baddest 69 convertibles out there. It is full of body modifications from front to back. They are putting a LS7 in with a LSA 6L90E tranny (I hate shifting gears) would rather tap up and down. Still debating if I should supercharge it, (They are the induction kings). I'll have DSE up front and Fab 9 in the rear with 4 link. The list goes on and on I'll keep all of you posted as the project moves along. The thing I still can't get over is that I took an original 53,000 mile all original rust free panels car to do this. Check out the All Speed Performance website to see more pics.

I know some guys are gonna hate me for this, but to hell with original. It's your car. Besides, I'm not an original guy. I'm a custom guy. I will cut, slice, dice, weld, grind, fab or any other word you can think of to a car. But hey, that's just me. I believe this is an era where car customizing is a billion dollar industry as opposed to the 70's and 80's where it was a small, elite group of guys. Now, in the 2000's, there are so many venues and things available for our cars/trucks it is hard to keep something bone stock IMO. Fellas, don't get me wrong though. I love an all original car too, because of my love for cars. I'm just saying don't let something like a one-owner, 30k mile car stop your dream build if you know you are a 20" wheel, big brakes, custom dash, big stereo type of guy.:soapbox:
