New TCI 4 link for mini tubbed 1st gens?

Anybody using one or have any info on it? There is a decent article in the new Camaro performers. I always ruled out their 4 link because you couldn't use mini tubs with it, but this one looks to be priced around $1100 and fits a tubbed car.. Seems like a bolt in 4 link for $1100 should be a big deal right?? Any thoughts or ideas? Im shopping for a 4 link setup and I was thinking about the G-bar but maybe this is a good way to go?:willy:

The only thing I have heard about these 4 links is that you can run a 335 tire. Nobody has run one yet that I know of would like to see some real world feedback on this I would have thought TCI would have built a car to showcase a new product that most people will buy to be driven.

they did.. they have a 68 camaro they test all there stuff on, the new camaro performers issue shows the install of it, but they use "factory replacement" wheel tubs that they widened to make there mini tubs. My car has DSE's in it and the area where they bolt there brackets has barely any room left on my car. Ive been looking close at the pics in the mag and im not thinking it will fit my car.. price sure is good though.... I hate it when a company builds something and you cant even find a pic of it on there own website, all they have are generic pics of there 4 link, none of this new design one.. Also i want to use air ride shockwaves, and i havent seen anything on how it works out with air. How low can we go!!??:unibrow:

You mean like the red TCI Camaro that was featured in Super Chevy and runs their front and rear suspension? ;)

One of the faster Camaros out there.

Although I'm not sure if it's currently running thier three link or thier four link setup.. both tested well though.

I will call them and ask if they can accomodate a 335 tire.. I know they can go 315.

I would also think a phone call to TCI might answer some of these questions.. :)

Pretty sure it's only up to a 315

when the tci rep first posted about how the car did in the shootout he said it had their Torque arm set-up.
