Help with Wax...
Anybody have any suggestions on a good wax? In the past few years, I have been using a glaze, wondering if I was an idiot for doing that.

I feel like Zaino protects well and lasts but it attracts dust.

Todd.....and that wouldnt have anything to do with the color of your car :)....gotta be the wax.....
I've used Zaino for a long time....got tired of having to order it and wait on shipping etc....its a very nice product, but kind of a hassle....went back to Mequiars |

Thanks for the help guys. Your guys' paint jobs all look phenominal, so I figured you guys could help. I used polishing compound yesterday and it turned out really good. Now I need to put a coat of wax on. I've been using Meguiar's products in the past with exception of the glaze. The glaze I used in the past was The Wax Shop, I don't think it did any protecting. My paint was pretty bad yesterday, had like a dirty film on it. |
Zaino for me. I guess it helps that its made in my town and is readily available at the local speed shop. Sal also frequents the cruise nights around here too, nice guy, nice toys too!

ADAMS polishes are the best that ive come across IMO. Very easy to use and you get fantastic results.
|
I'm also a Zanio user.

Give it a clay bar treatment once a year. I have recently started using Mequiars Tech Wax NXT. Easy to use and maintain, doesn't make black trim turn white and man does it make the paint shine. I will see after this summer how long it lasts.
