would a disc brake rearend from a 94 lt-1 firebird fit a 70 Nova? there is a parts car on cl for cheap, didn't know if it was worth looking at.:thumbsup:

I don't know if it is a direct fit or not if that's what you're asking. But, depending on the amount of fabbing you are willing to do or pay for, anything can be made to fit.

You don't want that rear, it's weaker then your stock nova rear. Not to mention to wide, wrong brakets, etc.

But most of the disc brake parts will swap to your rear. I did this on my Nova, but I had to use two right side brackets to clear the staggared shocks.
