Need some suggestions for a 68 Camaro
Hey guys, I'm new here, and it looks like you have a nice community here :) Its hard finding forums that are dedicated to my kind of cars. Its all these little honda's these days
So, I have a 1968 RS/SS Camaro that I've restored completely, and I'm about 95% done, and I'm just trying to find some wheels to put on it :D Do you guys have any suggestions for wheels? I kind of like these: http://www.billetspecialties.com/ite...id=132&pid=722 but I'd love to hear all your suggestions. Thanks |

Welcome to the site, Jeff.
I like those wheels, I think they'd look great. Is there any one brand or style that you like? |
Welcome to the site Jeff, I just put the Billet Specialties "Street Stars" on my 69 and love them.

There is lots of quality wheels form B.S. I own a pair myself. Try photo copying them on to the car first. Ask someone here if you don't know how to do it.
I tried 5 different set of rims with a picture of the car. What I learned is that my frist choice was the worst looking set. Remember you cant go wrong with a set of 5-spoke wheels. However, they set the style and character of your car. Buy what works for you. Good luck, R.P. |
Jeff the sizes are:
17x8 with 4.75bs and 245/45/17 Nitto 555's (fronts) 17x9.5 with 5.5bs and 275/40/17 Nitto 555's (rear) Scott |
