Welcome, I am originally from Macon, so very familiar with your area. St. Simons, Savannah. Yeah, St Patty's day on river street........
Anyway, welcome the site, and be sure and post up a shot or two of the 69!

Welcome Southern 69!!

I saw a white 69 RS today as I was getting on I75. It was on a trailer and looked to be coming from Atlanta area. Had to get back to work or I would have stopped.

Hey Bill, I'm in Macon now at the soon to be closing Brown and Williamson Tobacco plant!! Well, at least I get to stay here and lock the doors on the way out.

Yeah, I have a lot of friends who lost jobs there or had to relocate. My father-in-law retired this year after 34 years there. They are closing in what, March, April now? If you need some contacts there for car related events, let me know. A buddy that lives there just bought a white 69, may have been him. Red Chevy pickup or Silver Yukon pulling it?
Macon, a great place to be from...... way away from....lol

Yes, it was a silver SUV pulling it! Might have been him. They will finish production mid March and I will be gone about the end of May. Being in Maintenance has that one advantage - Get to remove the last of the equipment. And Yes, I can't wait to be away from Macon. Not home for me - just visiting for 10 years now.
