Ats Spindle Pre Orders

We are taking pre orders for ATS spindles NOW

We will be shipping July 12th

The price will be 1099.00 plus shipping
complete with hubs and hardware

A body and G body steering arms will also be available in limited quantities due to an industry shortage in raw materials.

We have also developed a upper control arm that will allow the use of the ATS spindle on the Second Gen Camaros.
As well we have a Chicane coil over kit for the second gen Camaros

Nice!! You guys are up and running with the ATS line. Gonna make abunch of people happy.

I didnt get the "industry shortage in raw materials." for the steering arms though. What do you mean? A shortage of metal to do the forgings? Or a shortage of suppliers making the arms. A lil confusing for me. Cause I would think if you had the materials for the spindles the arms would just be another supply, just more.

Is there really a shortage of raw metal? Almost sounds like WII days. I had NO idea raw materials were in a shortage now. If so its an eye opener for me. I had no clue there was a raw material shortage.

What type of steel are you guys needing? I have a brother in law in West Virgina and they are still foundering large amounts of alloy steel from what he has told me. And they are on overtime, three shifts a day and working long days. He sure as heck doesnt know who the purchasers are. I just assumed it was on the open market. And its bulk steel. Not in any usable shape. Just rail cars full of quality steel that gets shipped out.

I had no idea there was a shortage of raw steel. Interesting cause some one is buying it up. 24/7. JR

it actually has nothing to do with the Spindle it is the 7075 aluminum that we use for the bolt on "A" and "G" body steering arms. it is a specific size we use and there is just none arround even the mills are out right now. who knows if it is just the size we use of if it is the material is in high demand
either way we will have some available.

Blake can you give me a little education on spindles's. Whats the advantage from your spindle to the stock C6 Vette spindle I have with my DSE sub? And will your spindles work with the ZR-1 set up. I will have to change my spindles to a ZR-1 spindle. From what I have been reading this must be done do to the 2010 ZR-1 rotors and brakes I'm running.I guess theirs a heat issue that causes the bearing to fail on the stock C6 spindle.. So give me some input!!! I have to have something from Speed Tech on my car:D

well first off on the DSE sub that runs the factory C6 spindle/hub and ours are not compatable. the DSE sub is designed arround the c6 spindle, our spindle is designed arround the First gen sub. so neither are interchangable.
as for the ZR1 stuff, it is a little early to know if the brakes are compatable. they obviously work on Jackass. Mark would be the expert on this topic
i do know that our spindles are NOT compatable with the ZO6 hubs. the hub casting on the ZO6 is larger ( i will assume ) the bearing inside is larger. and will not clear the lower stud mount.

have a set for my 67 chevelle. Took over 6 months to get and another 2 to get the steerng arms, but damn they are nice. However, I dont think you can use them without the steerng arms. Or, am I wrong?

XLexusTech 06-25-2010 08:28 PM

Why the bump in the price ?
