My 69 made July CP F-body Garage!

Nice surprise to find my '69 in F-body garage this month. Thanks for the ink Steve!

I guess this means I have to get off my ass and come up with a build thread and maybe even a name for her. After I had to all but stop work on the project for a few months, the guys at Best of Show have been given the green light to move forward with the build. Anyway - I'll save the details for the build thread.

Thanks again Steve - Camaro Performers rocks!

G.

My July Camaro Performers just arrived, cover torn off but it arrived. Page 13 features letters to the editor and actually has a pic of Jackass.:D Except the point of the letter is about how badly Jackass was done, The body panels do not line up at all and the wheels look like clown shoes:willy: I cracked up when I read it. Nick, Steve, nobody has mentioned it. I have these visions of Nick and Steve worrying that I will be pissed so they aren't saying a thing. At least you guys could have set me up and said my car was in the magazine again. I even called Stielow and told him what a P.O.S he built.

Hey, we put your car in the Top-10... what do we know!

You should see the wacky letters get.. some people freak at wheels over 15 inches.

No biggie Charley.... Doug (DFRESH) will happily share a couple of quarts of the panel gap spray he has on order.

As for the IDIOT that wrote the comments to the mag... His daily driver is probably a Yugo and the '84 "maro" he's been working on for 15 years is still sitting on cinder blocks "out back".

And! Way to go Gandolf! :woot:

He's not idiot. He just has a different opinion. I'm sure if i trashed the carbon brakes and put something smaller on I could come up with a wheel he likes.

Congrats Gandalf! I also thought the armchair comments on Jackass were pretty funny. Those clown shoes look pretty good to me!
