'52 Chevy Pickup - Not Pro-Touring though!

I've been updated a thread over on MuscleRides for awhile, so I thought I'd start by linking to that and then adding additional updates over here as well.

Thanks guys.

Rodger, the work you guys do is truly inspiring to me. I try to look to the professionals, like yourself for even small ideas that I can apply to my projects.

It's been a long time project. I bought the truck out of a friends field back when I was 15 years old.....well Dad bought it for me. I've changed my mind several times on the theme and finally settled on a modern interpretation of a "stock truck". I wanted it to have a solid color similar to a stock color. The color is an Izuzu green. I went with the Wheel Vintiques steelies and stock caps.

I've learned a lot so far building the truck. My fabrication skills have improved and more parts became available for these trucks, so some of the early work that had been done was "re-done".

My Dad has been a huge help. He's a body man from way back and has tons of experience for me to draw upon, but at the same time he really stays up with the current latest and greatest technology....................and he works for cheap!!!!! Sorry Dad!

I have a family now, so time is limited, but I still hope to finish the truck and get out to some shows next year.

Wish me luck!

Professional. More like lucky and stubborn. We just try hard and are lucky enough to have pretty good results. But Thank you very much.

Ironic enough we have the same theme for the 48 truck we are doing.

git er done.

We got the doors on and ordered a bunch of glass and weatherstrip related stuff. I hope to get all of the glass in the cab before too long.
