Here are some pics of my daily driver. I dropped it 4 inches in the front and 5 in the rear. Put full Hotckis suspension and 22" on 30 series tires.
I own a graphics shop so I wrapped it in flat black vinyl.
I may take the wheels apart and powder coat the centers satin Black.
This truck rides like its on rails now.

Looks awesome.
Reminds me of the parts delivery truck from the first Fast and Furious movie! LOL.

I'm digging the new look.

Looks way cool. Why not put your company logo or name on it?

That was the plan but it looks pretty cool like this, I can't think of anything that doesnt ruin it.
I have been playing around with doing a graffiti style tag in white on the doors.
We have been so slammed here I never have time to work on my own stuff. It took me like three months to wrap this. I did one door one day, Then a week later the hood, and so on.
It looked pretty funny for a while.

That looks awesome and is really cool that you wrapped every single panel and it looked that good... I thought it was paint for sure!

What is the process, is it pre-cut stuff or just heated and applied then cut or what? Either way, I think it should be a good advertisement for a shop that handles such materials and stuff, nice one!!

It is essentially adhesive backed vinyl. We get it in sizes of 60"x150" rolls.
90 percent of the vehicles we do are full color so usually the rolls are white and we print directly to it with a large solvent printer.
Here are some pics of vehicles weve done to give you an idea of whats possible.
Most of NASCAR are done this way as well.
We print directly to the vinyl and overlaminate it with Gloss, Satin or Matte finish (just like a clear coat).
Any of you guys want a giant P-Diddy on the side of your ride let me know.

Good info and cool to see this popping up! I am in the process of building a car (vert 68 bird), and was debating on going with vinyl (3m 1080). As you own a shop, any feedback and input is gretaly appreciated. I just picked up the car, and teh body is good, but a 30 plus paint that will need love. I was debating going with matte black, but came acrosss the silver\gray 3m color, any opinions on it?

Thanks!

Gui
