New Guy From DE, 72 Nova
Hey guys, i'm new to lateral-g but i've been on stevesnovasite for a long time and have recently been involved with pro-touring.com and that led me to this website. I've got a 72 Nova that i've had for 6 years now, very mild 355, TH-400, stock 3.08 rear(for now), 1 1/8 Hellwig solid fsb, SPC uca's with tall ball joints, stock lca's with solid bushings, 650 lb. aafco circle track springs, comp. eng. subframe connectors, half inch lower solid body mount bushings, hotchkis 3 inch drop leaf springs and QA1 single adjustable shocks all around (getting the rears on this week), smoothed fire wall and a bunch of other stuff.
http://i399.photobucket.com/albums/p...0604001256.jpg I just put the old rears up front which are much larger than whats in the picture so i had to raise the front a bit and i'm going to have to raise the rear about a half inch to level the car out. I'm looking forward to starting to autocross the car soon and plan on having it at the autocross at the Goodguys show at Pocono. |
Welcome aboard.

Thanks guys, there is still a lot i have planned for it, hellwig rear sway bar, bigger brakes, 18"s, my posi and 3.73's are sitting in a box waiting to go in, upholster the trunk, new carpet since my 5 year old carpet has gone from black to purple on the trans hump, and i need a sound system other than the exhaust :D just to name a few.
Sits a little higher up front since this pic but these are the larger front tires, 225/60/15's instead of 185/65/15's http://i399.photobucket.com/albums/p...0520000739.jpg The battery is actually in the trunk now, you can kind of see the block off panels i made for the gaps between the wheel wells and the rad support behind the battery. http://i399.photobucket.com/albums/p...520002110a.jpg |
Looks good Jason. I'm digging it!
