Black Winshield Trim
I would like my stainless window trim (windshield, back glass, quarter glass, etc.) to be a semi gloss black. Looks like I could paint it, or powder coat it. Question is would powder coating make it too thick to assemble? I worry about scratching the paint while assembling it.
No, rubber trim is not an option at this stage. :) Thanks, Bill |
I wouldn't even think twice about powdercoating the trim,do it

anondize it in bright black, it comes out satin black. there is a batch min. 130.00 but that would be 1 piece or a whole table full of stuffsame price.

Anodize Stainless?
We sand it with 180, self etch prime it, semi flat black it, hold up great and 10 minutes to repair if a bug kills it. |
You can anodize SS - but it is not durable and needs a protective coating.
Just do what Frank suggested - scratch it and paint it. |
