What's your all-time favorite vacation destination?

What was your all-time favorite vacation destination? Where did you stay, what did you do & what made it so memorable?

My hubby & I are thinking about taking a vacation sometime in October, but we're not sure where to go. What are your thoughts?

Anywhere is it sunny and 70 degrees. Vegas at SEMA time is way at the top of the list!

Grand Cayman Island, been there three times. Seven mile beach is fantastic, the snorkeling is some of the best in the world, you get to go to Hell lol, went down in the mini sub, deep sea fishing, hang gliding, turtle farm is pretty cool kids loved that. It is a bit on the pricey side down there but the crime rate is very low, you feel safe anywhere.

Thats where I live

Id say Vegas as SEMA is a close second to Maui. I used to work on boats in Lahaina harbor.

Paradise on earth! The locals used to throw rocks at me when I was putting around town in my uncle's toyota pickup because I was a "haole" lol. I had so much fun over there.

We have been to Maui. Loved it! We cruised the Road to Hana, watched the sunrise at Haleakala, and just plain relaxed! We have also been to Oahu twice (actually got married there). Have you been to any of the other islands?

We also tossed around the idea of a multi-destinational cruise. BUT, I get motion sick in the front seat of a car...if I'm not driving! :unibrow:

I want to go to Kauai next time I visit the islands. Many people I work with have been and they say for beauty and relaxation its the best. The helicopter tour through the valleys and the aerial view of the waterfalls looks awsome.
