Anvil's 70 Chevelle Hood/Deck lid ***PICS***

Well I got the email/call this morning from Matt and Tyler over at Anvil; My parts were in. So my wife and I cruised on over from San Diego. Tyler, Doug and some other associates helped me out by fitting the panels on the car, and I was also taken for a little tour. We got the rear panel dead on, but the front still needs to be tweaked. I was kinda in a rush because I didn't wanna get stuck in LA traffic!!! So on and not hitting/rubbing was the goal. I also picked up some Carbon Arm rest, A-pillars, and license plate holder. The hood and deck lid are in Carbon top/Fiberglass bottom.

Anyways the visit was great, Tyler and Doug are great guys, and very funny! I definitely wanna give a special thanks to Tyler for taking time out to help with the installation, due to his departure to Europe tomorrow morning. Filing is a Muther@#$% haha. Doug's great, thanks for that mini tour of the 2010 Camaro. "Union Worker" lol. Matt, too bad you wern't there to see the car in person, it looks awesome. We gotta make plans to drop the car off for other test fitments.

All in all the panels look amazing and the fit is near perfect. I am super excited I was picked out of the many Chevelles in the So Cal area. lol.

I will post more pictures tomorrow after tweaking the panels and completing the install of the arm rest and what not. ENJOY!

Thanks guys. The pieces are awesome. I wish I could have opted for the full carbon, but times are tight and money is scarce nowadays.

I had time today to try and get the hood to fit a little better, and I just happened to find out my hood hinges are bent, and need to be replaced. The left was worse then the right, but luckily I had an extra set. I threw it on just to mess with the hood and it came out pretty well. Those pics will be put up tomorrow, but here are a few from earlier today. I also installed the arm rest, A-pillars, and did some fine tuning on the deck lid.

Looks great. What color is the car? Looks like a super dark grey metallic.
