Can I use a smaller booster

I am running 02 C5 Z06 front brakes and 01 LS1 rear brakes with a C5 master cylinder and a large factory vacuum booster in my 69 camaro. My question is can I run a smaller booster cause I have an interferance with my coils on my LS1 hitting my larger booster. Thanks in advance

you should be able to go to a 9" dual and not lose any braking force.

9" or even our 8" dual make more boost then a single 11" from the factory.

Frank is correct, a dual-8" diaphragm is more or less equivalent to a single-10.75" booster in terms of gain, albeit slightly more on paper. The dual-9" booster like those used on the C5 Corvettes provides approximately 30% more boost than the single-10.75", so either should be step in the right direction without any real drawbacks to speak of.

Had the same problem as you and swapped to a CPP 8" Dual Diaphram Booster.
