LS1,LS3,LS7 what are they equivalent too?
Is there a chart or something that can break down what the LS'S and what they Are equivalent to? I believe a LS3 is a 6.4L? but what would it be equivalent to in old c.i days?
I'd like to see a chart that says: LS1 = 5.7L = 350 C.I (example) Is there a chart somewhere? I know this seems like an easy answer to you LS Guru's but hey I am alittle old school :) Thanks |
Hey Nova - I'm no expert here but:
LS3 = 6.2l = 376 cu in (if I recall correctly) LS7 = 7.0l = 427 cu in It's about 61 cu in per liter... |
4.8 = 293
5.3 = 325 5.7 (LS1,6) = 346 6.0 (LS2) = 364 6.2 (LS3,9,A) = 376 7.0 (LS7) = actually should round up to 428, but 427 sounds a lot cooler flash911 was on the money. Note that all of the engines from 5.3 to 6.2 share the same 3.62 stroke. |
also the 5.3 and 4.8 are the same block.
