Just got my harness back from Speartech!!!
Holy Sh#%! I feel like I want to put it back in the box and forget about it! No really, I'm not sure how to start. It seems like there are more plugs then places to put them. This is my first LS swap so it seems crazy.
Harness looks good and most things are labeled. The fun starts now! |

I scanned and saved my instructions.
Mine were for a 2004 GTO LS1 so not sure if it's exactly the same. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...structions.jpg |
Now that everything is plugged in...

My harness is plugged in and it appears to be in the best position with the computer located in the front driver side fender. This harness has stock wire lengths from a 03 escalade. My plan is to get it running and then change the harness.
Is there any one that can confirm the wire colors for the injectors? Or just the #1 injector color?I'm not 100% sure that the harness is sitting correctly. It's going into a 69 bird and I must run a corvette style alt/pwr steering set up. It seems like the wires are sitting right where the alt/pwr steering will be. |
John is the best. He did a diagnosis for me over the phone and wouldn't take a dime, so I sent him a gift card. I can't say enouh about this man's ability in the wiring department. Top notch guy.

I have a question why is the harness not wrapped up??

Oh cool so speartech only wraps the parts they work on?

Sorry about that, I unwrapped it to get rid of a plastic piece I didn't need. I plan to rewrap it.
