I wouldnt go over a 1 inch lowering block. If you need to go lower than that I would change the suspension instead....coilovers, air ride etc etc...

When I was tossin around the idea of using either 2" or 3" drop springs I bought 2" blocks to make sure that's the stance I was going to want. They have their place and any ol street car is fine. They definately aren't good for anything performance oriented.
