Slow night in work
 

Well, I'm over 10 hours into my second of three, 12 hour nights this week and I'm bored.

Lat-G is one of the few good sites that my company's firewall allows me on, so I usually spend more time on it in work than I do at home, so I can spend more time on unallowed websites when I'm home.

Anyway, for the first time since I've been a member on here, I actually started at the top of the forum and opened every section to check out some threads, even making a few comments:yes: Some sections haven't had any new posts in months so I was able to just end up skipping by them, but others had lots of good stuff that I would have normally missed out on, because there are more than a few sections I rarely visit on a regular basis.

Anyone ever done this? Or does nobody have that much spare time? I know if I was at home, I wouldn't have this much time on my hands.

Yes, I have. When I was in between jobs or waiting for job to "rip" through the system, I would browse through lateral and other sites as well.:thumbsup:

i have 3 message boards i can get on at work because they are not blocked. but i can't see 90% of the pictures posted on any of them because the image linkes are blocked:( sometimes i save the link and pm it to myself so i remember to look at it at home.

Ummmmmmmm yeah - I've done it....often! :_paranoid

I log quite a bit of time on here daily! I do it from home since I don't have a PC at work (construction worker in the field 100% of the time!) So I quickly jump on as soon as I get home, do the family thing for a few hours, and then burn late into the night on L-g as well as doing other PC work.

The only time I'm really 'away' from L-g is when I take the family camping...and now with my new iPod I may get a signal there too! :lol: :lateral:

We can't get on anything with the Gov. They block websites that I actually need to use to do my job. I have IT on speed dial to give me access! I see that new Iphone in my future! :thumbsup:

Well, I just don't know what else to call it. My friends say it's "The place that I go to for my rest". They rag on me about it all the time

I guess I should really say it's just my place of employment because I don't do too much... but when I really do actual work, it is pretty important stuff.

I do all government work, but get a load of this...... since I only work on government stuff I don't get drug tested, but the company does commercial stuff too and the people that work on that stuff get randomly drug tested all the time.
