200+ mph Lambo crash at Texas Mile

I'm sure most of you have either heard about this or seen it, but thankfully the driver walked away due to good safety equipment. Does anybody know what actually went wrong?

I was planning on going, but didn't want to be the 3rd will. I heard it was basically operator error. I guess the 30K cage was worth every penny.

I believe it was a customer of Underground Racing, which is based out of North Carolina.

He may have had good safety equip but chances are that parachute was attached to the car at to low of a point and caused the rear of the car to lify and leave the ground. You can see the rear tires off the ground just after the chute expands....

just because you have safety equip doesnt mean it will work if not properly installed ;)

Looks like the car would have been fine if he didn't have the parachute
