Drove a 2011 R8 spyder today
 

My buddy traded in an 08 viper (and a load of cash) for a black R8 spyder. Took it for a spin this morning. Stunning car with killer V10 sound. The cackling exhaust on the downshift was awesome. Blisteringly quick with a ride that was very smooth. Tons of crazy gizmos to keep the power on the ground and the chuckle heads out of the ditch. Not sure if I would spend the dough on that vs. a Ferrari (a 430 Scuderia comes to mind) but it is something I never really paid a lot of attention to before and is certainly an amazing vehicle.

Those are nice cars indeed. I'm "ass"uming you're talking about the R8 Spyder 5.2 Quattro, correct? That car has about 525 horses and and has a top speed of 195 mph.:unibrow: :thumbsup:
