Read the owners manual, and use the chart on the door to get you started.

Just take some time and practice. I have that welder and it's work flawlessly for me.

Man I worked all day getting the old trunk out yesterday. That thing is a PITA!!! it's prob not really that bad, as I was trying to not mess anything else up. Looking back, I shoulda just went to whacking on it!

So I have seen on here that the ps quarter and inner wh have to come out to put trunk panel in. I get that part but my quarters now have partials, so would there be any advantage to cutting out the patch panels only vs. Removing whole quarter? Its getting replaced anyway I just wonder about having too many panels off at once. Any thoughts?

Filler panel removal

What is the best way to remove the filler panel between back glass and trunk lid? Have yall been able to save gutters when doing this?

Sorry, forgot to say it's for a 68 camaro!

Rear panel

I have a 69 camaro, and I used a cut off wheel, can get it down in the grove where your drip channel goes, just grind the welds off a little at a time I would recomend getting some 1/2 square tubing and putting in around the drip edge maybe one in the middle and one on each side to support so you don't lose the height or measure it as well, I used panel bond on the quarter sections, seals it up nice like seam sealer, just make sure everything is clean and free of rust, then screw it down where you want it, good luck

Anybody ever had any issues with a new filler panel being too wide to fit between quarters? LOL that seems like the one measurement easiest to get right....
