Pacific Coast Customs Family Car

Fresh out of 11 years of storage. This was my first car. This is a slow coming night and weekend project and any spare time we have here (doesn't happen very often). We don't really have a solid plan yet. I don't think we're going to do any body modifications to the exterior as all the rust was repaired 13 years ago and all the body work has been done and it's been sitting in primer/sealer for the last 11 years. Amazing how dirty something can get even sitting indoors.

I want to...but I don't. I know if I tear that far into it, it may never get done. It's one of those things of where to stop, which sometimes makes for a very time consuming project.

I think we're just going the simple bolt-on route for this one...

Carter's been tinkering on some ideas for us. We're not doing any body modifications as all the rust was repaired and the car was bodyworked 12 years ago before being sealed and put in storage. We are looking to re-work both bumpers and the grille area. Besides that, we really only have the interior and under the hood to do our thing.

We're looking to build something pretty simple and reliable. Something my wife could jump in and drive, something my Mom and Dad could jump in and take a road trip in. Chances are it will be LS powered with an automatic. We're looking into different companies suspension kits and still haven't decided on anything there yet.

For being a simple build it sure is taking on a major new look. I love it. Great renderings too!

THAT'S GOING TO BE A NICE RIDE. THAT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CARS. I'VE ALWAYS LIKED LONGROOFS EVEN BEFORE THEY WERE COOL.

That's going to be a fun build! Reminds me of my childhood...ridin' around in the wagons! WOOT!

Haven't got a chance to put in much work on the car yet. We do have quite a few color choices to pick from as far as the future goes. We're having trouble pinpointing a good choice that fits the car well. Right now it's looking like one of those cars that will end up black because we can't make a decision...

Anyone have any color suggestions that we don't have so that I can annoy Carter even more???
