So here it is, im finally starting a build thread for my car. Over the long weekend I will try to get caught up to where it is now. Anyone please feel free to advise or comment on something you like or don't like.

Here is my barn find when it came home. Pretty much what I was looking for, I did not want to buy a car that was complete and end up throwing away all the factory parts.

Stripping
 

I was not sure where to start since this is the first time I have done a project of this magnitude (think I might of just named the project) so at first I was all over the place. Started on rust repair and then decided I would be better off having the car stripped. After doing some research I came accross American Stripping in Sacramento CA. They do mineral blasting, metal spraying (rust repair) and can shoot primmer. I went with all three. I decided to have them spray a few parts of the car that I felt would be hard to patch like the roof and windshield areas. After stripping I had them cover the body in epoxy primmer. Also had to build a body cart.
