I picked up a 69 coupe back in July with the intent of posting the project as I went. I am finally getting around to it. Here are the starting pics. The car is a pre Dec 68 car built in Norwood CA. It does have PS, PDB front, AC. It was originally Fathom green with green interior and a black vinyl top. Most of the sheet metal is in pretty good shape and so is the front subframe. The car needed a floor and rework of the trunk. There is no glass, dash area, engine, trans. The interior might can be saved.

Take a look.

Here are the pics with the new floor pan installed. I started here so I could practice my welding skills after learning on some scraps. The toe box area and the trunk pans were able to be saved.

With the rear end and gas tank removed, I used stripper in a tank sprayer then a pressure washer to knock most of the crud off. I went back with 60 grit sanding disc to knock of the rest. This was a little tough but worked in the absence of a rotesserie. The tank sprayer was toast when I was done!
