Master Disconnect Switch Question
I have my battery in the trunk and I want to install a master disconnect switch. My question is does it matter if I place the switch between the positive side or the ground side of the battery terminals? I've had a turn knob type switch on my ground up to this point and it seems to operate OK. Thanks in advance for your response to my question

doing it on the positive side is way safer, as if something else is making a ground in the system it will still pull power. if you put disconnect on pos side, then there is no way for it to do that

Also make sure and wire your alternator wire and fuel pump power(if equipped) from the shut side.
