installing springs and upper control arms help

guys i am installing hotchkis front lowering springs. i have the old stock springs out right now and the lower control arm is free from the balljoint.

should i compress the new hotchkis spring and attatch it up and install the Speedtech upper arm with the jack under the lower control arm? ...OR should I remove the brake assembly and stock upper control arm from the upper balljoint and install the upper arm with the spring out?

what would be the easiest way to go about this?

Thanks

it is "Normally" easiest to keep the spindle attached to the upper control arm. The brand new Speedtech one will work Perfectly.
then install the spring up into the frame and jack the lower control arm up till the sprin is in the cup, this is where it get FUN!. you gotta keep the spring in the lca and the spring isolatorand jack the arm up till you can slip the ball joint in the spindle and get the nut on.

if the springs are long like say a drag spring we compress them out of the car then metal band them with metal pallet banding then instal them an then when the ball joints are tight you cut the banding. either way there is alot of faith involved!
