what insurance company to use?
 
ive had nationwide on all my cars for about 20 years now but id like to get some sort of agreed upon value.the car is almost done and i only have it insured for 8gs.id like 45k worth of insurance and mileage caps are not a concern cause i dont drive much.i had a dui in 91 and have only had mabey one ticket since then.for the record i have not drank in over ten years.car will be strictly used on special days and kept in a pretty secure building away from my house.my interior wont be done for about two months so i was hesitant contacting an agent.can the car be fully insured even though its not done.would i need all my reciepts if anything ever happened?thanks guys i remember msa? had insurance problems.just looking for some good advice.im located in delaware

Have had good luck with both Grundy and Hagerty. Grundy doesn't have mileage limit and has been more forgiving on hp, roll bars, etc. You'll need to quote a few as what may the best price for me may not be the best price for you.

Grundy all the way.... Unfortunately had to make a pretty big claim and they were very easy to deal with. Had a friend have to make a big claim too and also had a great experience

Grundy!! Have never had to make a claim, but the ease of the dealings sounds good to hear if I have to ever. Plus their policies seem way cheaper than Hagerty. I pay $350 a year for $57k of coverage.
