2012 Goodguys 70 Challenger contest entries
After seeing Ben's thread I thought it might be a good idea to post my entry up as well. As Ben stated, there are many details in all the entries that may be over looked on the contest page. I figure anyone that wants to post his entry on here with a detail list of mods could just do so in one thread for continuity purposes.
There were a lot of great entries in the contest and I am honored to have been given a shot at this. Here is my entry. The modifications I have made are as follows: Wheels ICONZ 830z powder coated black centers 20x12 rear 19x9.5 front Brakes BAER front and rear Body mods: shaved and tucked front and rear bumpers, shaved all emblems and handles, flush mount front and rear glass, shaved drip rails, replaced lower valance fog lights with billet brake ducts, hood is an exaggerated version of the R/T hood CF w/billet inserts in scoops, headlight panel and head lights replaced with a 2010 panel and lights, tail light panel and tail lights replaced with 72-74 panel and lights (thought the four lights matched better), fuel filler door shaved and replaced with 2010 Ducati filler cap, exhaust tips shaped to emulate front air ducts, CF deck lid and rear spoiler, Engine Viper spec R/T10 Trans Viper spec t56 Color paint custom deep dark red All Chrome and Billet dark smoked chrome http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/v...DGUYSENTRY.jpg |
I love this rendering. It is exactly how I have pictured my 72 but in red.

Very subtle design, I like it a lot!.

Thanks guys. I wanted to change as much as possible without changing the look that much. Just a new modern look on an old classic ride.
On a second note, I have been wanting to get a 3d software. Matts, you use 3ds correct? How is the learning curve on something like that? Is it something that you prettying have to take some classes on, or can it be self taught? |
